FRG Presents: Enhanced Bookmarking in AccuReports
FRG’s recent update to the Bookmarks tool in AccuReports, its proprietary software, enables users to save relevant reports. The Bookmarks tool is now accessible at the top of every page in the navigation bar, as well as on every report — on the right side of the section “Report Results.”
How Is the Bookmarks Tool Useful to AccuReports Users?
The Bookmarks tool in AccuReports is beneficial to users because it allows reports to be saved and easily accessed for regular review by analysts. With this critical time saver tool, users can get insights from AccuReports faster and avoid having to sift through the dense reports and data extractions FRG’s proprietary software has to offer.
Our recent enhancements allow you to build your own menu by putting the bookmarks you make in a dedicated Bookmarks Menu beside the Main Menu. It is organized under the same headings but only includes your favorites with annotations you save!
Adding Bookmarks: A Quick Tutorial
After a report completes rendering in AccuReports, users can select the “Bookmarks” button to save specific reports. These reports will automatically appear in the Bookmarks pop-up until manually removed by the user.
Step One: Selecting Reports to Bookmark
To save a report to Bookmarks, click on the “Bookmarks” button. This will display a pop-up for users to fill out that includes:
- A custom Bookmark Name
- A pre-filled Report Name
- A custom description of the report
Once the information is filled out, select “Add Bookmark.”
Step Two: Finding Saved Bookmarks
Once a bookmark is saved, click “Bookmarks” in the top navigation bar; it’s available on each AccuReports page. This will display a “Saved Bookmarks” pop-up where every bookmark is saved, by topic, in the same way as the “Report Menu” is organized.
In the “Saved Bookmarks” pop-up, users will see the title they chose for the bookmark and the category the report falls under. To close this pop-up, click the grey and white “x” in the bottom right corner.
Step Three: Editing & Deleting Bookmarks
To modify a bookmark, select the edit button in the top right corner next to the trash can icon. This action displays a “Modify Bookmark” pop-up that allows for the editing of the Bookmark Name and Description. Once finished, select the “Update Bookmark” section to save changes. Hit “Close” to exit the pop-up.
To delete a bookmark, select the trash can button in the top right corner next to the edit button. This will automatically remove the bookmark from a user’s saved bookmarks.
